Terms of Use & Policies
Welcome to Contractor's A/V.com. Contractor's A/V.com and its affiliates
provide their services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit
or shop at Contractor's A/V.com, you accept these conditions.
Customer Privacy & Security
We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption for your security. We do not disclose
credit card, personal information, etc. to third parties. Only necessary information
such as for shipping will be disclosed.
Most products/items are shipped “new” (factory sealed) and are covered
by their manufacturer’s warranty. Items that are not “new” will
be noted as such, and will have the applicable manufacturers warranty.
Images of Product
Images may not always match the product described. Some standard images may be used
with similar characteristics such as with wire and cable. Please inquire with any
questions.
Tax
Due to shopping cart and California tax constraints, one tax for all of California
will be utilized.
Shipping
Most products ship within 48 hours unless on backorder. If an item is on backorder
you will be notified within 24 hours of placing your order. We also offer such as
those with UPS or FedEx. The applicable rates can be easily assessed upon ordering
with the automated shipping calculator.
Products are shipped typically shipped ground either UPS or FEDEX as a default.
Shipments outside of the continental US may incur additional charges. “Heavy”
items may be shipped with a freight carrier. Freight carriers typically notify you
24 hours in advance to setup a delivery time. Please inquire with the particular
carrier for details.
Free Shipping
Selected items at Contractor’s A/V.com are eligible for free UPS Ground shipping
or Curbside freight delivery (if applicable).
Items eligible for “Free Shipping” are designated by the Contractor’s A/V.com shipping

To see estimated delivery times or use upgraded or faster shipping such as UPS 3
Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS Next Day Air, or White Glove freight, add the item
to the Shopping Cart and use one of the following methods:
- Use the Shipping Estimate feature in the Shopping Cart
- Go through the Checkout process and see the Shipping options page
Also, you will see that faster shipping methods are significantly discounted on
items designated for Free Shipping!
Shipping Policies
Please see the following Free Shipping policies:
- Free Shipping is not valid with any other promotions.
- Already discounted items and clearance items may not be eligible for Free Shipping.
- Free Shipping only applies to orders with a shipping address in the Continental
US (the 48 contiguous states), only.
- Free Shipping will be offered for the ground shipper and/ or method that Contractor’s
A/V.com chooses.
- Free Shipping is applicable only to a single shipment address. Multiple addresses
will be billed separately.
- If you return your purchase, the cost of shipping will be deducted from any refund
or credit.
- Free Shipping is not transferable.
- Weekend delivery cannot be requested.
- Some special product, order, or handling fees may still apply.
- The Free Shipping status of items may change at any time, and is offered only at
the time that the item is designated as such. We reserve the right to change or
discontinue Free Shipping at any time.
International Shipping
Contractor’s A/V.com is able to ship anywhere to which UPS and FEDEX will
ship. We are not able at this time to ship any package internationally via USPS
or Priority mail with the exception of a military base with an FPO or APO address.
Product Descriptions
Contractor’s A/V.com and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible.
However, Contractor's A/V.com does not warrant that product descriptions or
other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
If a product offered by Contractor’s A/V.com itself is not as described, your
sole remedy is to return it in unused condition, according to our return policies.

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons,
images, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Contractor’s
A/V.com or its content suppliers and protected by United States and international
copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property
of Contractor’s A/V.com and protected by U.S. and international copyright
laws. All software used on this site is the property of Contractor’s A/V.com
or its software suppliers and protected by United States and international copyright
laws.
Risk of Loss
All items purchased from Contractor’s A/V.com are made pursuant to a shipment
contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you
upon our delivery to the carrier.
License and Site Access
Contractor's A/V.com grants you a limited license to access and make personal
use of this site and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or
any portion of it, except with express written consent of Contractor's A/V.com.
This license does not include any resale or commercial use of this site or its contents;
any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative
use of this site or its contents; any downloading or copying of account information
for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar
data gathering and extraction tools. This site or any portion of this site may not
be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited
for any commercial purpose without express written consent of Contractor's A/V.com.

A/V.com’s name or trademarks without the express written consent of Contractor's
A/V.com. Any unauthorized use terminates the permission or license granted by Contractor's
A/V.com.
You are granted a limited, revocable, and nonexclusive right to create a hyperlink
to the home page of Contractor's A/V.com so long as the link does not portray
Contractor's A/V.com, its affiliates, or their products or services in a false,
misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive matter. You may not use any Contractor's
A/V.com logo or other proprietary graphic or trademark as part of the link without
express written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Disputes
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to Contractor's A/V.com or to
products you purchase through Contractor's A/V.com shall be submitted to confidential
arbitration in Los Angeles, California, except that, to the extent you have in any
manner violated or threatened to violate Contractor's A/V.com’s intellectual
property rights, Contractor's A/V.com may seek injunctive or other appropriate
relief in any state or federal court in the state of Washington, and you consent
to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement
shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association.
The arbitrator’s award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in
any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable
law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving
any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings
or otherwise.
Site Policies, Modification and Severability
Please review our other policies, such in the “Pricing, Price-matching &
Mispricing” section. These policies also govern your visit to Contractor's
A/V.com. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Conditions
of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or
for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall
not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
